Taxes, airport concession recovery, facility charges and any one-way drop fee are inside the number we quote. The figure you agree to on the call is the figure you pay us.

Six things that differ between rental suppliers

These are the terms that turn a cheap headline rate into an expensive rental. Our consultants confirm every one of them for your exact pickup branch before you pay.

Security deposit / card hold	Varies by supplier, branch and vehicle class. Premium and specialty classes usually hold more.
Debit card acceptance	Some branches accept a debit card, some refuse it outright, and the hold is normally larger when they do.
Driver age rules	Most US suppliers rent from 21, some from 20, with a young-driver surcharge under 25. Premium classes often set a higher minimum.
Mileage	Unlimited on many leisure rentals, capped on many long-term and specialty ones. Always worth confirming in writing.
Fuel policy	Return-full is usually cheapest. Pre-purchase fuel is convenient and rarely cheaper.
One-way drop fee	Charged by most suppliers on a different return city, and the amount differs widely between them.

Is this the official National website?

No. This page belongs to FlightsQuest, an independent travel agency. We are not National and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for National. The official National website is operated by National itself.

Can you help with a National booking I already have?

No. We have no access to National's systems, records or customer accounts. Any existing reservation — whether you made it with National directly, on another website or through another agency — has to be handled by whoever holds it. We take new bookings only.

Do you guarantee a National car for my dates?

No, and nobody honestly can before checking. Our consultants check availability with the rental suppliers we work with for your exact dates and locations. If National is available and competitive we will quote it; if it is not, we will tell you what is, and you decide.

What price will I actually pay?

Your consultant reads you the total including taxes and location surcharges before any payment is discussed. A deposit is taken through a secure link sent to your phone or email, and the balance is settled at the rental counter when you collect the vehicle.

What does it cost to get a quote?

Nothing. The line is toll-free within the US, quotes are free, and you are never obliged to book after hearing the price.

Can I cancel after booking?

Yes. Cancel within 24 hours of booking and we charge nothing. After that a flat $50 service fee applies, in addition to any cancellation charge the rental supplier applies under its own terms.
