Baggage Policy

1. Carry-on Baggage: Singapore Airlines offers passengers to carry up to two bags into the cabin with you depending on your class of travel. If you are traveling on a Suites, First Class

Or Business Class then you can carry up to 2 pieces of 7kg each. The sum of length, width and height of each piece should not exceed 115cm. Whereas if you are traveling on a Premium Economy Class or Economy Class then you can carry up to 1 piece of 7kg each.   1. Checked Baggage: Your checked baggage allowance is based on the weight or piece concept, depending on your final destination. Economy Class passengers are allowed 30 kg, while Premium Economy passengers get 35 kg. Business Class passengers are allotted 40 kg of checked baggage. Passengers traveling on international flights will need to adhere to the weight limits outlined in the policy. Any excess weight is subject to additional charges.

Unaccompanied Minor Policy

If you are planning to book a flight for an unaccompanied minor with Singapore Air then consider the following: 

  • Singapore Airlines mandates the Unaccompanied Minor Handling Service for children aged 5 to under 12 years. For children aged 12 to under 18, this service is optional.
  • Complete and submit the Unaccompanied Minors Handling Service Form. Provide details of the child, parents/guardians, and individuals meeting the child at departure and arrival points.
  • The service includes assistance from check-in through to arrival.
  • Notify the airline of any special needs, such as meal preferences or medical conditions, at the time of booking.
  • Additional charges apply for the Unaccompanied Minor Handling Service, especially for children aged 12 to under 18.
  • The Unaccompanied Minor Handling Service is not available for flights transiting through Germany.
